As Dr Nighat explained to Phil and Holly, eggs are loaded with health benefits.

Eggs are a plentiful source of vitamin D, vitamin B and vitamin A, the latter of which is “great for eyes”, she said.

Also, their calorific count is not that much, depending on the size of the egg, Dr Nighat pointed out.

“Eggs may even promote weight loss because they are quite filling and keep you going until lunchtime,” she said.
