Written by Administrator

The fast-food chain regularly launches limited-edition items to its food menu, with menus changing every six weeks. Now, McDonald’s has announced the launch of its hottest burger to date, and it even comes with a free bottle of milk to wash it down with.

Launching on July 14, the McSpicy is launching into stores nationwide.

The limited-edition burger will cost £5.49 and all orders via the app will come with a free bottle of Happy Meal Milk to help cool down burning tongues.

The succulent chicken fillet features a spicy coating, on a bed of crunchy cool lettuce and mayo, sandwiched between two sesame seed buns.

To celebrate the launch of the new burger, McDonald’s lit up restaurants in two locations of the UK with the highest and lowest tolerance to spice after polling 5,000 UK adults on their attitude towards spice.

Another said: “Sounds like the best one yet, although the spicy nuggets were more southern-fried.”

“Now I have an even bigger excuse to go to McDonald’s, I’ll be there.”

It will join the current limited-edition line-up alongside the BBQ Bacon Stack, Mozzarella Dippers and the Aero Chocolate and Aero Mint McFlurries.

The BBQ Bacon Stack burger, which costs £4.79 for the burger or £6.29 for a meal, is made with two beef patties, pepper jack cheese and smoked bacon topped with tomato, lettuce and onions.

It is drizzled with signature BBQ sauce and served in a sesame seed bun.

The Mozzarella Dippers can be picked up in a single portion of three for £1.89 or a sharing box of nine for £5.09.

Prices may vary around the country, depending on which McDonald’s store you visit.

McDonald’s fans can pick up the new menu items via walk-in takeaway, Drive-Thru, McDelivery and Click and Serve on the My McDonald’s app.

In other news, supermarkets are preparing for the Euro 2020 Final which sees England face Italy on Sunday.

To mark the occasion, Asda has announced its new operation ‘It Asda Be Coming Home’ which sees food and drink items available for customers at a bargain price.

Asda’s new online curry bundle allows customers to pick up a meal for just £6.

Ahead of Sunday, the supermarket estimates that it will sell over half a million curries, with more people than ever celebrating the game at home.

In the deal, customers can pick up onion bhajis, tikka masalas, jalfrezi and pilau rice.
