Strictly Come Dancing’s Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice’s connection on tonight’s show didn’t go unnoticed. With the pair dancing to an upbeat song, body language expert Judi James said that although they may have 20 out of 30, their connection between each other was the strongest out of all the contestants on the show.
The pair danced the Cha-cha-cha to Oye Como Va/I Like it Like That by Santana on tonight’s fourth episode of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Craig Revel Horwood scored the pair a five, Shirley Ballas scored a seven and stand-in judge Anton du Beke gave the couple a reasonable eight.
Watching the live show, Judi analysed each of the contestants body language to determine who had the strongest connection on the show.
The Good Morning Britain presenter and her professional dancing partner were the strongest couple according to the body language expert.
She said: “They might have belly-flopped to the lower rungs of the leaderboard this week but Ranvir and Giovanni are still the couple with the strongest chemistry in the show, so much so that it is almost eclipsing their dancing skills.
“Ranvir had clearly suffered a major dip in her body confidence pre-Strictly but Giovanni appears to have melted her down and built her back up into a woman capable of doing one of the sexiest dances of the night with their passionate Cha-cha-cha.
“The couple’s torsos clamp together like magnets and their gyrating hips as they locked in tonight should almost have been X-rated.”
Ranvir looked stunning in her fluorescent low-neck pink mini dress and Giovanni matched his dance partner with an open pink shirt.

Strictly Come Dancing: Kelvin and Oti ‘established a deep connection’ [EXPLAINER]
The couple appeared very close on the dance floor while dancing, smiling throughout the whole performance.
Judi added: “This intimate torso contact shows high levels of trust and lack of inhibitions between them, which is a trait that is currently missing in several of the other dancer’s routines, especially Caroline and Johannes, who appear to keep a rather stately and polite distance between their bodies during their waltz and Bill and Oti, who have yet to perform a tactile and sensual close-up routine.
“It was Anton who triggered Ranvir’s pent-up emotion though, showing the effort she is putting into pleasing Giovanni during her routines.
“When the night’s new judge told her ‘You look phenomenal’ Ranvir’s face crumpled as she fought back tears that must have been prompted by a blend of mixed emotions.”
Fans of Strictly also took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the pair’s performance.
One person commented: “You were amazing Ranvir and Giovanni, you definitely have my vote, love the chemistry.”
Another said: “Wow that was a sizzling hot Cha-cha-cha by Ranvir and Giovanni, amazing legs and those hip movements were incredible.”
“Giovanni is incredible. Go Girl,” a third Tweeted.
In terms of worst chemistry, Judi explained that Bill and Oti are missing the chemistry that Ranvir and Giovanni have together.
She explained: “Bill and Oti are still a puzzle in terms of chemistry together. Whatever they have got is clearly working so far in terms of their dazzling routines and scores, but their odd and rather powerful signals of detachment stand out like a sore thumb in the very tactile, intimate world of Strictly.
“Last week Bill was the first contestant in my memory to sprint up the stairs to the balcony ahead and apart from his partner.
“Their routines have been phenomenal and Bill is a current bet to win the show, but their touch and engagement rituals off the dancefloor appear minimal and Bill does appear to be the rather dominant partner at a stage when the celebrities are normally eating out of Oti’s ‘tough love’ hands.”
