Another said of the news: “Covid from South Africa why not block all flights from there, no one will isolate properly!

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advises against all but essential travel to the whole of South Africa based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks.
The FCDO website states that most new cases of coronavirus in the country are caused by the new variant of COVID-19.
The South African authorities have also said the new variant could be more contagious.
