Supermarkets issue food recalls due to health and safety fears. Due to it being faulty, a product is recalled because it could create damage to certain individuals.

The snacks affected are Eat Real Quinoa Puffs White Cheddar, Eat Real Quinoa Puffs Mediterranean, Eat Real Quinoa Puffs Jalepeno & Cheddar, Eat Real Quinoa & Kale Puffs White Cheddar, Mamia Organic Carrot Puffs, and Mamia Organic Tomato Wheels.

All best before dates up to and including May 2022 are affected.

These Eat Real snacks are sold at Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, and Ocado.

The FSA recommended not eating the products and returning them to your nearest supermarket.

Another product being recalled are crisps sold at Sainsbury’s and Ocado.

Simpleas Lightly Salted Pea Snack is unsafe to eat for some people because it contains gluten not mentioned on the label.

The FSA advised customers to return the product to a store for a full refund.

It said: “If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to barley, oats, wheat or gluten, do not eat it.

The statement read: “TJ Morris is recalling Choco Dippers snacks due to an undeclared allergen in the ingredients list.

“If you are allergic to peanuts do not eat it.

“Please return the product to our store for a full refund.”

All batch codes and best before dates are affected.
