A Full Moon, New Moon, Super Moon, Mercury retrograde and more are all being squashed into one calendar month this year. That’s right, this October is going to be an eventful one for you, Taurus. With the help of astrologer Francesca Oddie (@francescaoddieastrology) and Sunday Times Bestselling author and Moon Mentor Kirsty Gallagher (@kirsty_gallagher_) reveals Taurus’ horoscope for October 2020.

The month kicks off with a Full Moon on the first day of the month.

Every month the Full Moon is in a different sign of the zodiac, and this time it’s in Aries.

Kirsty said Kirsty said: “This Full Moon in Aries is bringing a powerhouse of dynamic energy calling you into your own needs, power and sense of self – it’s time to shine.

“This fiery first sign of the zodiac is coming in strong to help you to take back complete control of your life and kick start much needed change, especially when it comes to places in your life you have given away your power or lost yourself.

“Under this full moon you can gain huge clarity on emotions, beliefs, relationships, identities and everything else that you need to let go of.

“It’s a Moon of deep inner healing and allowing old wounds to surface, stuck stagnant energy to start to shift and anything holding you back to be released.”

The New Moon in Libra occurs on October 16, and in general this is a time for new beginnings.

As the leaves are falling off the trees, we’re all clearing out what we don’t need to make space for new things.

Kirsty’s book advises: “Use the Libra New Moon to really go inwards and listen.

“This time for deep introspection is key to beginning the new season in a clear and focussed way.”

She recommends using the time to think about your hopes and dreams and get back on track with plans to achieve them.

Take care of yourself and nurture your relationships.

Perhaps the most exciting day in October for Taureans is the Blue Moon in Taurus on Halloween, October 31.

Kirsty said: “When a month begins and ends with a full moon, we know it’s going to be emotional, illuminating and bring about a lot of much needed change.

“This Full Moon and the entire month is going to help you heal, move on, and regain power that you might have lost.

“October is bringing such an energy of change with it.

“Not only are we really feeling the shift into autumn now but the planetary activity we have going on is also urging us into some deep healing, shifts and changes.

“Having the month begin and end with a full moon shows a need for real illumination in your life, an honest check in of where you are.”

A Super Moon is a Full Moon that appears larger in the sky because it is closer to the earth.

The Full Moon on October 31 is a Super Moon in Taurus, and Taureans will feel this energy more than anyone else.

Kirsty recommends doing an emotional cleanse, so it’s time to make important decisions on this day.

Make a list of what makes you feel low or what is keeping you stuck this year and burn it on the Full Moon.

What is uncertain in your life and making you feel anxious? Get rid of that too.

Be thankful for what you have and take on any challenges with strength and resilience.

With the Sun in Scorpio at the same time, you may feel a little vulnerable and overly emotional.

This combination makes for great transformation, and you might finally be able to embrace who you are and what you’re about.
